Xavier Aragonès
(Pineda de Mar, 1979)

My work mainly revolves around the effects, sometimes subtle and sometimes traumatic, of human activity in the places surrounding us.

I’m a photographer living in Terrassa since 2009. I have a degree in Journalism and have studied Photography at Grisart and El Observatorio, both in Barcelona.

I have published two photobooks: O. O. O. and Twentysix Abandoned Catalan Gasoline Stations. The latter has also been features as an exhibition at the Revela’t (Barcelona, 2018) and Festimatge (Calella, 2021) photography festivals.
